New and Not Different – Internal actions for Higher Prices #3

Here is a third internal conversation that can help blunt the effects of a higher price announcement.


Plan more communications with customers. Use the opportunity to open better lines of dialogue. Increase communications: regularly scheduled support/product training (paid sales calls), operational calls to smooth logistics and channel issues, and providing more information about new products/features/choices. This means more inside setup and planning for sales, marketing, and operations (do support and service staff have ideas how to talk to customers about what’s going on?).
