Transforming your business — A new direction


Although the little company had executed its plan to get distribution to retail, COVID19 had killed the retail marketplace. Jim and his team had to come up with a new plan for selling their widgets or it could spell the end of the venture.

Jim met with Adam and Susan (virtually now) to discuss new sales plans. Direct to consumer and end-user sales would have to be highlighted. Adam suggested implementing landing pages with targeted promotions. Susan suggested that they invest in social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, and possibly TikTok.

Jim and Adam began to look for a website eCommerce vendor who knew how to launch a direct-to-consumer campaign. Now they had an excess amount of retail packaged goods, but with the switch to direct sales, the packages didn’t make as much sense.
