The little company had weathered the COVID19 storm. Though Jim had originally planned to sell the bulk of his product through retail, the pandemic forced him to find other ways to generate revenue. What needed to be learned to grow the company?
The Chinese company that Jim had used couldn’t keep up with his sales rate. He tasked Adam and Susan with finding back-ups both in China and elsewhere. Running out of the product wasn’t acceptable.
Jim continued to work with the retail channel. He’d hoped it would provide the bulk of his sales, but the pandemic had hobbled it for now.
Now that sales were steadily growing, Jim began to think about the future of the widget. How could it improve? Were there other uses for it?
