5 Actions for Management to Take

5 Actions for Management to take

Following up on “What, me worry?” this is a short release to itemize 5 things actions to take after ensuring the safety of your staff. If you’ve already done them – you’re ahead!

Immediately after making sure your staff, facilities, and assets are looked after there are risk management and stakeholder issues to look after.

The 5 Things to Do Today are presented in summary here with a separate post about what your enterprise might need depending on specifics.

1. Does your enterprise have products, services, or people exposed to risk because of ongoing deliveries or presence in the geographic areas of Ukraine, Russia, or locations close to the conflict zones?

2. Does your enterprise risk management plan include business interruption, continuity, marine, or umbrella coverages that need to be better understood in view of the specific conflicts?

3. Are there enterprises, people, or government customer relationships affected by the conflicts where good communications are needed? What jurisdictions are they domiciled in?

4. Are there investors, partners (such as joint ventures), or stakeholders domiciled or resident in jurisdictions affected by conflicts?

5. Are there operations disrupted by communications breaks, communicating with distracted parties, or decisions not being made?

6. Do your enterprise partners, suppliers, or arrangements have logistic, supply chain, or indirect connections affected by conflicts?

EkaLore is posting these in a group today in response to our ongoing discussions with folks asking about Today’s Action Items.
