Actions to do today for network and infrastructure managers: make sure you know what your monitoring (checking the network) tools are reporting, and surveillance (are their problems in network usage and from exploits) is strong enough. Identify problems and get vendors to “turn up” bandwidth if possible as an easy step, or add people time to improve network monitoring.
