Jim and his team had everything in place. They had a product, distribution to retail, and a plan to promote the product. A small outbreak of what people thought was the flu -- COVID19 began to sweep across the globe.
The distributor had started selling the product, not at a particularly high rate, but steadily enough that Jim needed to order some more products. The Asian manufacturer complained about supply shortages due to Covid. Holly, their salesperson, explained that they might be shut down by shortages and delay shipping.
As if supply problems weren’t enough, the pandemic was beginning to affect their retail channel as well. Jim and Adam worried -- How would they maintain sales?
